Lueders-Avoca ISD is already experiencing an increase in student absences. With that in mind, we want to share the importance of being at school every day.
Regular attendance is essential to student success. Every day a student is in class is another opportunity to learn, participate, build relationships, and stay on track toward earning credit and graduating.
We encourage our students and families to make attendance a priority.
BE HERE. LEARN HERE. SUCCEED HERE.
Remember the 90% Rule
Students must attend at least 90% of the days a class is offered to earn credit or a final grade.
With 154 instructional days, 90% equals 138.6 days. This means students can miss no more than 15 instructional days and remain at or above 90% based on the annual total.
Every day matters. Every class matters. Your future matters.
