High school Student Council will be selling Valentine's Day Treats, or "Snack-Chats,"
For only $2.00, each "Snack-Chat" will include a cupcake (choice of chocolate or vanilla), and soda (choice of Coke, Dr.Pepper, Sprite, Big Red, or Diet Coke).
One thing to note is that the cupcakes will be generic box mix, so there will be allergens.
Your child had a Valentine's Day "Snack-Chat" order form sent home with them last week. If you need more, please call the school and we will send more order forms home with your child.
If you would like to order one (or more!), please send the order form and money back to school with your child before February 7th.
The Stamford Baseball Association has asked if students from Lueders-Avoca would be interested in playing baseball with them. The elementary students will be bringing the attached form home today which has to be back tomorrow. We just wanted to give you all a heads up that the form will be in backpacks.
Varsity Boys Basketball Update: The game scheduled for tomorrow, 2/2/24, has been cancelled due to lack of referees.
Sorry folks. I didn't do a good job of getting pictures tonight. The varsity boys played a fantastic game tonight and came out on top. LA- 36, Paint Creek 30. Way to play boys.
The varsity girls had such an exciting game that I forgot to snap a picture of the score board at the end. They were awesome. The final score was 30 LA, 28 Paint Creek. Way to go girls.
IT TAKES A PACK
What a ballgame for the JH boys, but they came up short. It was a hard fought game.

PreK reviewed the letter A today! We traced and colored words that start with the A sound.
Update for JH Basketball in the Paint Creek Tournament on Saturday, January 27th: JH Boys will play Baird @ 10:00 a.m. in the Old Gym and JH Girls will play Paint Creek @ 12:00pm. in the New Gym.
