Our Book Fair is next week February 27-March 3. We will have Family Night TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28 4-7 PM.
Spring Pictures are Wednesday March 1. We will also have class pictures done on that day.
Shout out to our School Counselor, Mrs. Hawkins. We have the best Counselor around. Thank you for all that you do for us Mrs. Hawkins.

Lueders-Avoca ISD will be closed again tomorrow due to adverse weather conditions. Every one be safe and stay warm.
Lueders-Avoca will be closed Wednesday, 2/1. There will be late start on Thursday, 2/2, of the 10:00 with buses running two hours late.

In abundance of caution we will be releasing school today, 1/30, at 12:30. Busses will run, The basketball games scheduled for tonight will be scheduled for a later date. We will have a 10:00a.m. start tomorrow, 1/31, with buses running two hours late. We will reassess conditions in the morning.
LA families, your students are warm and fed and we are having a great day of school so far. We will continue to keep an eye on the weather. The roads in and around LA and along our bus routes were good this morning but we will watch for further developments. Right now the biggest concern appears to be tonight as more precipitation moves into the area. We will make a decision for tomorrow as early as possible. Thank you and everyone stay warm.
Weekly Bulletin 1-30-23
Varsity boys and girls basketball games scheduled for Tuesday, 1/31, have been moved to Monday, 1/30, beginning with the girls at 6:00 and the boys to follow.
The basketball games scheduled for 6:00 this evening will start about 30 minutes later due unforeseen circumstances out of our control.
Lueders-Avoca will have a late start at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, 1/25, with buses running 2 hours late.
LA Families...
Heading into tonight with continued winter weather and temperatures expected to drop below freezing we will be monitoring the road conditions and forecast closely.
If we need to delay or cancel, these are our procedures and places to find information.
The Superintendent, Principal, and Transportation Director will make the determination of road safety by 6:00AM.
The principal will send out a Remind to staff and parents. The principal will post a notification on the school website, Facebook and Twitter.
The Superintendent will contact KTXS, KTAB, and KRBC.
We will always try to make the call as early as possible.
The boys basketball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to not enough players. The girls will still play at 6:00 in Knox City.
