Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Lueders-Avoca High School Cheerleaders!!!!
Yesterday the High School students participated in UIL at Jayton.
Here are the Results:
Social Studies- 5th place Alicia Anderson (Alternate to Regionals), 7th Jaylie Jeffcoat, 17th Kadyance West. They were also the 3rd place team.
Number sense- Nicholas Quinn 8th place, Daniel Jarvis 16th, Jaylie Jeffcoat 25th, and Elizabet Watts 26th. They were 4th place team.
Mathematics- Grace Miller 18th, Elizabeth Watts 22nd, Justin Stewart 26th, and Danial Jarvis 27th. They were 6th place team
Current Events- Levi McCarter 13th, Nicolas Quinn 14th, Kadyance West 19th, Justin Stewart 22nd. They were 5th place team.
Calculator Applications- Daniel Jarvis 18th, Dakota Jeffcoat 19th, Shelby Huggins 21st. They were 6th place team.
On the way home they stopped at Subway for dinner. Thank you to our students for going and representing Lueders- Avoca so well, not only in academics, but with positivity and good sportsmanship.
A big shout out to Mr. A, Mrs. Ivy, and Mrs. Stanley for taking these students and helping out at the meet.

High School UIL Academic Meet
All High School students that live in Lueders and are participating in the UIL Academic meet Tomorrow ( Thursday, March 27 th) need to be at the bus barn no later than 6:40am. Avoca students need to be at the high school no later than 6:45am.
Mrs. Ivy will pick up Lueders students when she grabs the bus. Mr. A will be at the high school by 6:15am.
School will pay for breakfast and lunch at Jayton's Junior Class Concession stand, and we will stop at Subway on the way home. If students want to bring money, there's more than the meals available (traditional concession stand items).

Lueders-Avoca HS Cheer Tryout Practices!!!
Congratulations to our Raiders and Lady Raiders !!!!!
There will be a mandatory cheer meeting this Thursday, March 6th, from 6:00 to 6:30 pm in the Lueders Cafeteria for the girls trying out and their parents/guardians. We will be discussing Cheer Tryouts, Rules and Expectations.
Grades 3 - 8 will be benchmark testing all this week. Junior High students need to report to the elementary all this week instead of the football field. All elementary and junior high students will have breakfast first thing each day before testing.

It's National FFA Week and Taylor Telecom presented the Lueders-Avoca ISD FFA Chapter with a $500.00 check. We would like to thank Taylor Telecom for their continued support of all our students here at Lueders-Avoca. It's a Great Day to be a Raider!!!!!
