The Lueders-Avoca HS/JH TAMU ReCent Program trip to DFW is a high-impact educational experience for HS and JH students who have completed their necessary paperwork. This trip, supported by initiatives with Texas A&M, that aims to provide transformational education through hands-on activities.
April 24, 2026
Trip Itinerary
06:00 AM: Departure from the Lueders campus bus barn.
09:30 AM: iFLY Indoor Skydiving – Students will participate in a unique flight experience. DFW location iFLY at the Hurst location near Fort Worth. iFLY Indoor Skydiving offers specialized programs for school field trips.
12:30 PM: Lunch break.
01:30 PM: DFW International Airport – A visit to one of the world's busiest travel hubs for an engaging look at aviation and logistics.
03:30 PM: Sea Life Aquarium – Exploration of marine biology and aquatic conservation.
06:00 PM: Group Dinner.
30 minutes out students will begin calling parents for notice of return at 10:00 PM
10:00 PM: Arrival back at the Lueders campus. Please be on time picking up your students.
Important Reminders
Preparation: Wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity at iFLY and significant walking at the airport and aquarium. Students need to wear tennis shoes and jeans or slacks. No sweat pants, pajama pants, tank tops, shorts, crocs, slides, or sandals. If students are not dressed appropriately they will no be allowed to get on the bus. Your students safety is our upmost concern.
We will meet in front of the Lueders JH and Elem campus at 5:50 in the am. We will depart at 6:00 am. If your student drives to school they need to park in front of the school on the ends. So you see you in the AM!!
