Dear Parents, Guardians, and School Community,
We are writing to inform you of an incident that occurred recently on school grounds and to assure you that all students and staff are safe.
A small grassfire broke out on the south side of the Elementary/Junior High building as the result of an electrical spark. School staff acted quickly to extinguish the flame immediately.
Out of an abundance of caution, students located in that area were promptly moved to another section of the school. The local fire department was notified and arrived on scene to apply extra water to ensure the ground was completely secure and extinguished. The electric company was also notified to inspect and resolve the cause of the spark.
Normal school operations have resumed, and student safety remains our top priority. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the main office.

Lueders-Avoca — make some noise!
We’re here today to celebrate something pretty awesome — you just won $5,000 from Friday Night 5G Lights!
That happened because this community showed up. Students, parents, teachers, coaches, friends and fans all got behind Lueders-Avoca and proved that even a small school can make a BIG impact!
But listen — we’re not finished yet.
That $5,000 was just the beginning, because now Lueders-Avoca has a shot at the GRAND PRIZE — a $1 MILLION stadium makeover!
We’re talking about a rebuilt stadium, a new weight room, a new scoreboard — the kind of upgrades that could impact Lueders-Avoca athletes and students for years to come.
And YOU can help make it happen.
Pull out those phones. Take pictures. Make videos. Post your school spirit. Share it, repost it, and get your friends and family involved.
Every time you post, make sure you use BOTH hashtags:
#FN5GL
and
#Entry
Let’s get Lueders-Avoca all over social media. Let’s show them how much pride this community has and how badly we want that million-dollar grand prize!
You already proved what happens when Lueders-Avoca comes together.
We got the $5K — now let’s go get the MILLION!
LET’S GO LUEDERS-AVOCA!
Come out tonight and watch the game and have some amazing pulled pork. It's a dinner and a show ;-) We can't wait to see you there!!! #FN5GL #entry Lueders-Avoca ISD
